SUMMARY:Uniting Church Studies Part Three - Sacramental Practices
DESCRIPTION:The sacraments proclaim the gospel and inform the rhythm of the Christian life. This course will explore God’s love\, grace and reconciling work reflected in and through Baptism and Holy Communion. The course will guide learners to a theological understanding of why the sacraments are conducted\, and offer practical guidance for how we conduct them. Completing this course\, and its relevant assessment\, are essential components for Presbytery approval of Lay People presiding at the sacraments.  Participants should have previously completed Uniting Church Studies 1 & 2 or equivalents.

SUMMARY:Ministry Agent Compliance Training Day
DESCRIPTION:This Training Day includes the Code of Ethics refresher course in the morning and Safe Church training in the afternoon.  Participation in Code of Ethics Refresher is required every year following completion of the full Code of Ethics Foundations course. Safe Church training is required annually for Ministers and those in ministry placements.  Join us for the full-day workshop or choose to attend the Morning session (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) or the Afternoon session (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM) only.  Lunch is provided.
